Program Description

Adverse credibility assessments can destroy a noncitizen’s case and make it difficult to win on appeal. This webinar will take a deep dive into precedent on credibility and impeachment issues and guidance on how adjudicators determine credibility and review these determinations on appeal. The faculty will also offer practical tips on how to present asylum claims to minimize the risk of adverse credibility findings, including a discussion on corroboration and common pitfalls to avoid.
